Merced, CA - Exclusive to Malibu Boats, the new Malibu Illusion XS wakeboard tower was designed with sharper lines to compliment the progression of Malibu's hull and deck designs and to further differentiate Malibu boats on the water. This new tower sports a serrated back edge to complete this sharp look, while maintaining Malibu's forward swept appearance and cast aluminum construction.

When asked about the new tower design, Dan Gasper, Head Designer and Engineer at the Malibu Boats Research and Develop Center, had this to say, "The new serrated legs of the Illusion XS resemble the saw-teeth of an aggressive blade and add to the tough look of our boats." Gasper continued, "Malibu boats look almost as good as they perform."

This new wakeboard tower is constructed of cast aluminum for its strength and wire-routing abilities. Just like the Illusion X, the XS is available in a number of Malibu colors. The Illusion XS is equipped with a pop-up navigation light for late night cruises. This new Illusion XS is also built with the Quick Pin Release System for convenient collapsibility.

The XS will come standard on the 2008 Wakesetter 23 LSV and 23 XTi as well as the Wakesetter 247 LSV and 247 RX. The Illusion XS will be an option on the '08 Sunscape 23 LSV and the Sunscape 247 LSV.
