Camsur Watersports Complex Press Release Otilla stops King’s reign in Phil. Wakeboarding tilt PILI, CAMARINES SUR - Ricky Otilla prevented Arthur King’s quest for a three-peat by taking the men’s professional title of the 3rd Philippine Cable Wakeboarding Nationals at the Camsur Watersports Complex. The hometown native Otilla, 21, beat out King with an array of difficult tricks to score an 84.67. Dan Saraza finished in second place with 82.33 while King placed third with a 68.67. Edwin Tipones took the fourth spot with a 66.00 followed by Carlo Dela Torre (53.67), and Raymund Tosio (47.67). Jeena and Ernesto Lopez, Januson Dy, Carlo Dela Torre, Philip Jay Nacario, Ma. Josefa Feliza Ermita, Kathleen Reyes, and brothers Julio and Luigi Villafuerte shared the limelight of Otilla by winning in their respective events. Jeena Lopez bagged her second straight open women’s title with an 86.00 edging out Joyce Recto (65.67) and Andrea Sevilla (62.67). Ernesto Lopez went home with the veteran’s plum, while Januson Dy emerged as the master’s champion, with Dela Torre and Nacario taking the open wakeskate and men’s title. Ermita won in the junior women’s event and Reyes captured the girls’ event.
